CAPTIVITY KILLS - Light Brigade Protest at SeaWorld Reception

Tuesday, January 28, 2014 San Diego, CA - Animal rights activists protested the event, "Evening reception at Sea World" as part of a seminar at SDSU for the The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) -- the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities worldwide and is dedicated to the preservation and prosperity of the amusement industry.

Large Turnout for Queer Artists Project Exhibition Opening Reception at Lambda Archives of San Diego

Friday, March 15, 2013 - Lambda Archives of San Diego is hosting an exhibition of LGBTQ art which will be on display until June 15th. The opening night reception drew a large crowd of supporters. Works of art by Albert Bell, Devon Browning, Dennis Covey, Muriel Fisher, Timothy W. Grummon, Donal Hord, Bruce Kamerling, Lisa Kanemoto, John Keasler, Vicki Leon, Robert Miles Parker, Andrew Printer, Carl Schmidt, Syd Stevens and Julie Warren are featured in this show.
